New Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas is Actually Shaped like a Guitar

New Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas: Soon to be the Strip's Most Iconic Landmark

Las Vegas is about to get a new hotel. Nothing new there... except it will be shaped like a guitar! And we're here for it.

Eagle-eyed guitar enthusiasts will notice the tower's resemblance to a Les Paul Gibson guitar, though it's not officially branded as such by Hard Rock.

Rising from the legendary site, a massive 660-foot guitar-shaped tower is taking shape on the Strip. It's a bold declaration that rock and roll has arrived in the heart of Sin City.

Currently under construction at the former Mirage property, the Guitar Hotel Las Vegas (yup that's the official name), is expected to be completed by the second half of 2027.

The stunning structure will feature six high-powered light beams projecting at least 20,000 feet into the sky, mimicking guitar strings against the Las Vegas night, creating a visual spectacle visible for miles.

When completed, this colossal instrument-shaped tower will feature nearly 3,600 hotel rooms, gaming space, multiple pools, spas, and entertainment venues with (we hope) legendary musician line-ups.

Hard Rock is delivering on its promise to create an immersive rock-and-roll experience unlike anything else on the Strip.

Will you be checking in when the doors open?

P.S. Imagine how epic it would be if the guitar tower was somehow playable like a guitar?  It could also use a giant Copperpeace guitar strap in our opinion ;p
